Be the leading resource for the development and support of worker-owned cooperatives on Long Island
Mission
1. Educate the public about the cooperative advantage. Help workers interested in creating worker cooperatives with planning, feasibility studies, financial projections, grant application, developing internal governance structures.
2. Support conversion of existing businesses to the cooperative model and provide day-to-day management and other support as needed.
3. Encourage cooperation among all types of cooperatives to share leadership development resources involving business, education, unions and local community development agencies.
