Get Started

There are several starting points for worker cooperatives:

1. Start from scratch
2. Buy a franchise
3. Buy an existing business
4. Convert an existing business

Although there are some differences in getting started.  They all have one thing in common:

They need to provide a product or service for which someone is willing to pay money.

Without that, it will whither and die maybe even before it gets off the ground.  In other words, go find customers and then find something to sell to them.  Works much better than the other way around.
